In total, around 61% of the Karmann Ghia sports coupes produced were sold to the USA. Just like this black Type 14, which was restored in the USA and came to its current owner in Germany in 2016. Since the restoration, the sports coupé has had the engine from the 1500 vehicles with 32 kw and thus ensures sufficient acceleration. The car was registered with an H licence plate in 2020 and had an odometer reading of approx. 114,000 km at the time. To date, the vehicle has only travelled approx. 4000 km and is in fantastic condition.
