Description

This beautiful Rover P6 3500 V8 is new to our inventory and I personally imported it from Milan. The car was first registered on 09/03/1973 and was owned by the owners of the famous kitchen manufacturer Schiffini. The car was delivered to the son of the founder Giuseppe Schiffini. The company started by being responsible for the interior finishing of the ships docked in the La Spezia shipyard. The company thus established contacts all over the world and was able to serve as its most important customer the British Royal Navy. After the Second World War hit the company hard, the son of the founder Giuseppe Schiffini decided to focus on the production of designer kitchens. The company used the car mainly for representative purposes, including chauffeuring clients from the airport to the company premises. This explains the low mileage of only 75500 kilometers. In 1985 Schiffini became a public limited company, but the car remained in the private ownership of the owners. There the Rover remained until finally in 2016 Mr. Chiorazzo was able to buy the car from the family. At that time, the car was in excellent condition and even still largely in its original paint. Technically, Mr. Chiorazzo completely overhauled the car, both the engine and the power steering. A new transmission was also installed.

Conclusion

The car has a large number of original and wonderfully preserved documents. The original owner's manual, as well as the original checkbook and also the delivery certificate from the Rover factory from 1972. The Rover drives beautifully and presents itself as a great car with a traceable history that is easily suitable for daily use.
