One of a kind - Perfectly restored!
In the sixties, BMC was looking for a way to sell cars in Spain at that time. This was difficult in Spain at that time, as there was a very restrictive policy towards car imports. The goal of Leyland-Authi was mainly to manufacture Austin and Morris cars and to establish distribution for Spain. In January 1967, the first cars built in Spain came off the production line, followed in October 1968 by the Mini 1275, which was equipped with leather seats, walnut dashboard and with more extras than its British counterpart. Among collectors, therefore, these models are considered the most valuable and sought after.
The first registration of this Authi was on November 17, 1971 with the license plate M-6313-B in Toledo/Madrid. In 1993, the Authi was imported to Germany by the previous Spanish owner and registered. In 2011, an extensive restoration of the Authi began. The Mini was successively rebuilt with original parts. All work is precisely documented in pictures and in writing. The result can be called as good as new without envy.
