“The best or nothing”. This well-known quote is almost 100 years old and if it still applies to a modern Mercedes, then to an S-Coupe or even an S-560 Cabriolet. The models of the 217 series were among the most luxurious convertibles that could be ordered from Mercedes, with the exception of the S-680 Maybach, which is strictly limited and in a completely different league in terms of price. In contrast to the 63 AMG version, the turbocharged V8 in this S-560 convertible provides a powerful, majestic glide rather than a motorsport-like forward thrust. However, if you want to let the 469 horses off the leash, the 4-liter displacement gallops the 2-ton convertible towards the horizon on request and lets the driver feel it acoustically.

This S-560 convertible was purchased from a Mercedes dealer and has been in 2nd private ownership ever since. To date, the luxury convertible has run 60,000 km and is in its original paint. It is fully equipped and has only been driven 2000 kilometers by the current owner in the last 2 years.
