Fantastic car in great color combination!
A large coupe that not only looks dazzling, but is also elegant and sporty at the same time. Technically, the W111 was based on the four-door 2.2-liter six-cylinder models that appeared in August 1959. For two years, the pontoon coupés were still being built, but they were replaced by an extremely elegant "Fauxcabriolet".
This W111 was picked up in 2012 with 78,330 km by its last owner in Norderstedt near Hamburg. The latter renewed some parts of the vehicle every now and then in the following years. In the same year the instrument housing was repainted. Shortly after in 2014 the owner had the car completely repainted. All chrome parts were subsequently repolished by the owner personally. There was also a cavity sealant and all rubber seals were replaced. The door locks were also replaced and the seal on the sunroof was also renewed. Technically, the typical wear parts were replaced, brake calipers and pads are new, as well as the shock absorbers front and rear. In between there was a leather care for the red interior and in total there were 2 oil changes since the previous owner bought it. In 2019, both bumpers were re-chromed once again. Last but not least there was a new battery and inspection.
A well maintained W111 with a great interior. If you are a fan of lots of chrome, you won't be able to get enough of this 250 SE with additional chrome parts.
