Description
In August 1966 Mercedes Benz presented their large convertible class in a new form. Due to the cosmopolitanism, substance and quality of the W111/112 series, all models of these years rose quickly to classics. In the name of a customer, we’re offering this Mercedes 220 SEB/C Cabrio, a prime example of the aforementioned series. The vehicle was acquired on 07.03.1966 by a printing house executive for 26,092.60 DM and remained in family possession until 1996.
From 2006 to 2008, the convertible was extensively restored and has been with its last owner since 2009. Again, no expense or effort was spared over the years. In addition to an engine overhaul in 2013, both axles were also thoroughly overhauled.
Conclusion
A Mercedes 220 SEB/C with this color combination is simply spectacular. In addition, the excellent restored condition. For us it’s clear: This Benz belongs in collectors hands!
