Description

This original Lancia 2000 I.E. was first registered in 1972 near the city of Ancona at the Italian Adria coast to Mr N. Fattori, born in December of 1923. Aside from a few cosmetic corrections to the outer shell, the vehicle stands in original mint condition. Even the factory-delivered protective sheets in the interior have remained since the delivery to Mr Fattori. Shortly before his death, in 2004 Mr Fattori passed the vehicle on to his neighbor, who remained in possession of the Lancia until midway through 2018

The abbreviation I.E. stands for “iniezione electronica” (electronic injector) and only 5,475 vehicles of the model series 2000 were outfitted with the Bosch-D-Jetronic, which led to them boasting a power of 125 HP along with lower consumption. The engines are generally considered to be quite long-living and can - with appropriate care - last 300,000 km and more. The dual circuit brake and the shock-absorbing steering column present notable safety features. The dashboard is lined with mahagoni and ebony and features a complete interior set. The steering wheel itself consists of a special splinter-free wood and the seats and trims are covered with velvet.
