Description

This Jaguar MK 2, kept in classic white, was purchased from the last owner in 2010 and has always been technically renewed and repaired by the Düsseldorf Oldtimer Workshop König. A prerequisite for the acquisition of the MK 2 was its well-kept and solid condition for the previous owner at that time. This owner bought the car from an acquaintance who had owned it for 14 years. As far as he knew, the MK2 had another 3 previous owners before 1996. After taking possession of the vehicle, all extensive work was carried out in a workshop from 2010 onwards. This included the replacement of the water pump and the alternator, the conversion to an electronic ignition, a transmission overhaul, as well as all the various maintenance and preservation work. It is also interesting to note that only 620 vehicles of the 240 MK 2 model series with left-hand drive were produced.

Conclusion

British flair in a sixties style icon. Lavishly modernized to still stand out in the streetscape as a luxury class sedan and to give the driver the feeling of driving a small English castle.
