Real off-road capability. That is the purpose for which the Ineos Grenadier exists. First-class engine. Ladder frame. Permanent all-wheel drive. Three limited slip differentials. Solid rigid axles. After production of the Land Rover Defender was discontinued at the beginning of 2016, the founder and CEO of Ineos, Jim Radcliffe, decided to build his own off-road vehicle. They combined the best components of all off-road vehicles in one vehicle. Ineos teamed up with the best suppliers and created a real, utility-oriented off-road vehicle for the 21st century. Robust, powerful, reliable and indestructible. These vehicles are powered by 3.0 liter 6 cylinder engines from BMW, as diesel or petrol.

The Grenadier we are offering for sale here is a Grenadier "Trailmaster" and thus the highest configuration level in the model range. It is equipped with the rarely ordered gasoline engine and delivers almost 300 hp. The vehicle was ordered in 2023 and actually only served one purpose: the company "Upgrade Your Van" offers interior upgrades and conversions for these models and needed a base vehicle. The Grenadier was then modified slightly. The plastic bumpers were painted in the same color as the vehicle. In the interior, the normal BMW 3 Series seats, door panels and center console were upgraded with beige quilted leather and reupholstered, and the floor in the interior and trunk was given new carpets. The Grenadier rolls on 17-inch wheels as standard. Here, however, 18-inch rims on 285 tires were retrofitted all round. To prevent the enlarged wheel and tire combination from looking like an oversized shoe, the fender flares were extended with a discreet rubber lip. The robust technology was not touched. The total cost of the conversions amounted to around €13,000.
