Great restored condition!
This green GLAS GT was first registered in California in 1968. The owner moved to Vancouver in the 1970s and took the car with him. The car sat there for a while and became the property of the McPherson family in 1981. In the years 86 to 88, the car was then completely restored and renewed with the help of Hans Glas, a member of the GLAS family. In 2016, the GLAS coupé came to Germany and is now being sold on behalf of the current owner. The 1700 GT is in a completely restored condition and has only been driven around 400 kilometers since the restoration. In total, only 1680 units of the Glas GT Coupe were built and sold, making the classic Glas Coupe a rarity in the road scene.
The GLAS Coupé was not only elegant and relatively inexpensive, but also very powerful and is regarded as the company's most successful model. The coupé was presented as a 1300 version at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 1963. This was followed in 1965 by the 1700 GT, which was built until 1967. Only 5,376 vehicles were produced in total, including 363 convertibles. Of these, around two thirds were 1300 GTs and one third 1700 GTs.
