An unique "Knudsen-Taunus"!
This beautiful Ford Taunus XL 1300 is the luxury-inspired version of the Taunus, which can be seen in the angular headlights. The nickname "Knudsen-Taunus" comes from Semon E. "Bunkie" Knudsen. He was Ford's chairman of the executive board from early 1968 until the fall of 1969, and under him new models received a distinctive protrusion in the grille and on the hood (known as the Knudsen nose). It is equipped as standard with a 1300 cc OHC LC four-cylinder (LC: low compression), and has 55 hp. Due to its origins in Italy, the Taunus is in wonderful condition and rust-free. It still has mostly original paint, is unwelded and is absolutely original inside and out. Also the original Italian cardboard letter is still present.
The Taunus has been completely technically overhauled by us, has received a complete service and all fluids have been changed by us. On request it gets fresh TÜV, German papers and a H-registration.
The vehicle can be visited at any time after prior appointment with us, so that we can ensure that the car is in the appropriate location.
With us you have the possibility to get your old- or youngtimer in combination with a special and completely market-new warranty. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!
