restored condition! only 1013 build cars!
The Fiat Abarth 124 Rally is a road-legal version of the competition car used in rallying, also known as the ‘124 Abarth Stradale’. The main objective of this model was FIA Gr.4 homologation, and accordingly only 1013 examples of the model were built. At that time it was available in only three colours, white, red and blue. Among the main modifications compared to the usual Spider, the Rally had independent rear suspension, an improved engine, ultra-light body panels, bonnet, boot lid and hardtop folded in fibreglass, four-point roll bar at the rear and 13’ Cromodora alloy wheels.
The bumpers were replaced with rubber plugs to reduce the weight to a maximum of 938 kg, 25 kg less than a normal Spider 1800.
In the interior, the rear seats and glove compartment lid were eliminated, new anodised aluminium elements, a three-spoke steering wheel with leather cover and Recaro seats in leather were added.
If you are a fan of Italian rally cars, you can't go past an Alfa Spider Rally. Our vehicle is an original from 1972 and still has all the original rally conversions. The engine was overhauled approx. 2000 km ago and now provides a real rally feeling from the past.
