Description

These days, this Fiat 124 sports coupé ranks among the rarities on international roads. In particular, exemplars presenting in as beautiful a condition as ours here. The sports coupé was first bought in April 1973 at the official Fiat-Lancia dealer in Chivasso (the factory town of car manufacturer Lancia). The buyer was Mr Ettore Cardonetti, who was born in October of 1921. The incredibly good condition of the coupé owes itself to the circumstance of Mr Cardonetti having already been 52 years old at the time of purchase. He therefore took appropriate care of the Fiat sports coupé and - judging by the mileage - rarely drove it. Until his passing in 2010 the coupé remained registered to him and was then transferred to his nephew, who didn’t drive the car at all. In November 2015 the nephew passed the vehicle on to Mr Alberto Rovera, born in 1958, a doctor in the Gavirate hospital in Turin. He replaced a few wear and tear components in the vehicle and used the coupé for occasional pleasure rides and vintage car shows in Turin.

Conclusion

The Fiat 124 CC sports coupé is a great version, with wheel disc brakes mounted on all four tyres, five-level crankshaft and an incredibly meaty sound. The coupé is considered a specialist for sharp turns, with a very roomy body, a rich interior, a thoroughly refined engine and a high level of drive security. Fiat clearly invested more into security tests than other manufacturers in order to properly protect the passengers.The interior boasts with cloth inlays in the seats, an electric clock, and the steering wheel is height adjustable. All in all, this 124 CC sports coupé is an absolutely authentic and comfortable sports car with a truly impressive sound.
