restored condition!
The Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2 is a Gran Turismo coupé from the Italian sports car manufacturer Ferrari. The vehicle was first presented in 1972. Numerous further developments followed and it was built with larger engines and modified designations until 1989. This car was given a completely new design by Pininfarina. The aim was to create a fast, sleek and elegant 2+2 with a traditional V12 engine that broke with the classic shapes of the 365 GT 2+2 of 1967 and also offered more space in the rear than the GTC4 of 1970. The German importer Helmut Becker (Auto Becker) put it this way: ‘Only the eye of the connoisseur recognises it. Its unobtrusive elegance is an expression of understatement. Driving a Ferrari without everyone noticing. It has the air of a very serious business partner.’
This 365 GT4 was sold to the current owner in 2022. Until then, the vehicle had been at a Belgian dealer in a completely restored condition; the paintwork, interior, axles, engine etc. had been done and the gearbox had also been overhauled. According to the Belgian dealer, the previous owner was very meticulous and therefore spared no expense or effort during the restoration.
Twelve cylinders, six twin Weber carburettors and a 5-speed manual gearbox. This combination is a relic from days gone by, lost forever. If you still want to enjoy the pleasure of driving such a vehicle, there is no way around a Ferrari 365. Added to this is the truly fantastic condition and the unagitated understatement look.
