The luxury GTI with the fabulous 6-cylinder engine!
With the BMW E36 Compact, BMW wanted to compete with the Golf at the time and offer an affordable entry-level model. Mainly the model was delivered as 316i. In addition, there were also with far fewer copies the 318ti and finally the 323ti with the 6-cylinder engine and 170 horsepower. Thus the vehicle was again expensive, however BMW created thereby the ultimative long distance GTI. Light weight, great handling and unique driving experience due to the 6-cylinder engine.
This beautiful vehicle was ordered in 1998 directly from BMW by Mr. Roland S. born 1954 in Stuttgart. Although the car was not very cheap, he ordered everything that was dear and expensive. Among other things, the Exclusive package, air conditioning, M package, leather interior, sunroof, HIFI system with the CD changer and even a car phone. Probably he wanted to annoy the Mercedes competition with it, since Daimler-Benz had no comparable model in the program at that time. At the turn of the year 2000/2001 his long time friend Andreas W. took over this beautiful car. He himself was even a more enthusiastic car lover who with his 67th year of life could not resist the BMW slogan: "Joy of driving". He kept the car until he was 80 years old. He maintained it regularly but drove it little and in 2013 Christian B. took it over into his unique BMW collection.
The car presents me in original condition in the great color Montreal Blue Metallic with black leather interior. The car has been driven only 86.400km and is in original condition and is for me one of the most interesting youngtimers that you can currently buy.
The vehicle can be visited at any time after prior appointment with us, so that we can ensure that the car is in the appropriate location.
With us you have the possibility to get your old- or youngtimer in combination with a special and completely market-new warranty. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!
