This first original version (series 1) with chrome and white turn signal lights was registered on June 28th, 1973 in Latina (Sicily) to Mr Astolfi Elena, born in 1922, and remains (thanks to the climate) in brilliant condition. In 2013 the A112 was sold to Mr Claudio Baviera, who is a so-called gentleman driver for historical rallies and used this extremely light (only 670 kg) vehicle to participate in several historical races. The events this vehicle took part in are immortalized by the various stickers placed on the outside of the side window. They’re great proof that the vehicle can’t have experienced rain, at least not in the latest years. The compact car A112 was first introduced in Germany in 1970 and was sold for over seventeen years in seven different editions. The vehicle was the final model of Italian car manufacturer Autobianchi. After 1977 the models were carried on under Lancia.
